Come in Out of the Cold with Penang Red Curry

Wednesday October 11, 2006
Penang Chicken Curry When outdoor temperatures begin to drop, there's nothing quite like a good curry to warm you up. Named after a state in northern Malaysia, Thai Penang Red Curry is spicy and flavorful, and works equally well made with chicken or beef. As the name suggests, this dish carries with it the flavor and aroma of distant places (you'll find culinary references to Malaysia as well as India and Burma). With its homemade combination of spices and fresh herbs, my Penang Red Curry Recipe is super healthy, and the red vegetables such as red chilli, tomatoes, and red bell (or sweet) peppers add extra vitamins, flavor, and texture to this wonderfully famous Thai dish.
