Try a New Rice Recipe: How to Make Thai Sticky Rice!

Thursday April 2, 2009
Thai Sticky Rice If you've ever wondered what sticky rice is, or how to make it, check out this How to Make Sticky Rice Recipe. Thai sticky rice is also known as "sweet rice" or "glutinous rice". Sticky rice makes a delicious accompaniment to savory main course dishes (as well as desserts). Similar to Japanese sushi rice, sticky rice is excellent paired with saucy stir-fries or curries. While it can be made in a rice cooker, here I'm going to show you how to cook sticky rice in a pot on your stove. It's so simple, anyone can do it. Sticky rice can be purchased at any Asian or health food store. ENJOY! (photo by D.Schmidt)
