Add Syrup to Drained Tapioca Pearls

Drain the tapioca pearls and place in a bowl. Pour some syrup over - enough to prevent them from sticking together (about 1/4 cup).

If you're using sugar instead of syrup, you can quickly make a syrup out of equal parts white and brown sugars dissolved in 1/4 cup water. OR substitute honey.
