Pouring the Ice Cream Mixture into Prepared Loaf Pan
D.SchmidtIf making plain ice cream (not a cake): simply pour the ice cream mixture into a tub or other prepared containers (large yogurt containers work well).
Set in the freezer. Allow to freeze for at least 8 hours, or overnight.
Note: You can leave the ice cream cake or plain ice cream uncovered until frozen. Be sure to cover it thereafter.
