Chips are the ultimate snack. Crispy, crunchy, often salty—they're delicious paired with a sandwich, as part of a casual party spread, or on their own. Unfortunately, chips aren't known for their health benefits. Most are deep-fried and coated in salt and flavorings, making them more of an indulgence than a health food.

These chip recipes break the mold thanks to alternative cooking methods like baking, dehydrating, and air frying as well as healthy ingredients like kale, apple, and zucchini. They're a fraction of the calories of your typical store-bought potato chips and more nutritious while still being totally delicious. Reach for one of these healthy chips the next time the snacking hour strikes.
